I study soft matter as a computational physicist. These are high entropy systems — systems in which constituent objects (like macromolecules, colloids or bacteria) have many degrees of freedom. Many of these projects focus on biological systems, while others consider how we can design microfluidic devices and nanotechnologies that can control these systems.
